Founder and Executive Creative Director for Beats Lyrics Leaders and Kidzapalooza.org
J Ross Parrelli is an award-winning artist, educator, and community leader passionate about empowering youth and fostering creativity through arts and entrepreneurship. As the founder of Beats Lyrics Leaders and Kidzapalooza.org, she has developed community programs that combine Hip Hop education and arts-integrated entrepreneurship. She leads the Creative Economy Entrepreneurship Initiative at the Roseville Venture Lab developing the education-to-workforce pipeline for the creative economy. J. Ross serves on the Arts Council Placer County Board, the Auburn Economic Development Commission, and the BAE (Benefits, Access, Equity) Board, and advises the Youth Advisory Council. A NAMMY award recipient for her role in the Nisenan Rock Opera Something Inside is Broken, J Ross continues to champion art as a tool for economic development and cultural connection.
